AUC Records Management

Mission and Services

AUC Records Management, operated by the University Archives, assists university offices in handling their inactive records (also known as files or documents. See About University Records for more detail about what records are and the responsibilities of AUC personnel for handling them). Our program ensures that documents required for administrative, legal, financial, or historical purposes are preserved for as long as needed, stored securely, retrieved efficiently, and disposed of or transferred to the Archives when appropriate. Authorized by the Office of the President in 2007, AUC Records Management provides guidance on how long to keep records, storage in the Records Center, and disposal of records
