On October 8, 2023, in Riyadh, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the AUC Libraries and the Al-Turath Foundation. At the ceremony, AUC President Ahmad Dallal signed on behalf of AUC and Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for Al-Turath, an organization dedicated to the preservation of Saudi as well as Arab and Islamic heritage and whose focus on architecture is a mutual interest with the Rare Books and Special Collections Library.
