Celebrating UNESCO Award to AUC Libraries-RBSCL

On November 20, 2022, AUC President Ahmed Dallal, the Deputy Ambassador of South Korea and representatives from the Egyptian National Commission of UNESCO joined AUC Libraries and Learning Technologies (LLT) faculty and staff in a celebration to recognize Rare Books and Special Collections Library (RBSCL) for winning the UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the Word Prize for its outstanding contributions in preserving world cultural heritage.

AUC’s Libraries and Learning Technologies (LLT) won the 2022 UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize for the decades of preservation work carried out by the Rare Books and Special Collections Library (RBSCL). Representatives from the library accepted the prize in South Korea on September 2.
